It’s that time of year when we’re all acutely aware of breaking old habits from the past year and walking into the new one fresh and free. I love to utilize creative ways to break old thought patterns that keep me stuck in old habits. Self doubt and fear are what I wrestle with in my life, so what do I do? When a fear or negative thought comes up, I write it down on a piece of paper and burn it over my loo. Yep, the toilet.
Watching it disappear forever is comforting and the act of writing it down gets it out of my head.
Try it, I promise you’ll like the way you feel as you push down that handle and walk away.
