Springtime Green.


It’s springtime and an excellent time to start to cleanse the body of the stuck energy and extra weight we all seem to accumulate thru the winter months. Arugula is a tasty and effective way to help your liver release and flush out toxins as well as mineral rich to keep your energy rising along with the temperatures outside.

I love to make the salad below and please realize the lemon adds extra detox power and the honey is mineral rich!! This salad is an excellent source of sustained energy as well as a powerful detox aid.

If a salad is not in your cards today, throw a handful of arugula into your morning smoothie…YES! You won’t taste it but just a tiny bit…a bit of peppery flavor but if you use banana or pineapple in your smoothie, you won’t be bothered and will LOVE the extra kick!

Arugula Salad Dressing
4 lemons juiced, Meyer lemons best when they are in season!
2 TBS raw honey 1/3 c Olive oil. pinch of salt. Throw it all in the blender and pour over your arugula.We love raw pine nuts and Manchego cheese on top!
